A lifelong storyteller, her love of writing began in Year 6 and later led her to earn a Bachelor of Communications with a double major in Creative Writing and Journalism from the University of the Sunshine Coast. Throughout her career, Alexia’s work has been published internationally as an online journalist and locally as the editor of a community newspaper.
Alexia writes character-driven stories known for their emotional depth, compelling narratives, and vivid sense of place, capturing a distinct slice of Australiana. For the past three years, she has been travelling around Australia with her husband, two kids, and their menagerie of animals — adventures that continue to inspire her storytelling.
